When I applied for the accounting assistant position, they asked whether I could help prepare shipping orders. I said yes, so besides doing accounting department work, I also prepared shipping orders. After working for a little over a week, they suddenly told me to move to the sales department, and then brought in a new employee to sit in my place. I thought it was strange, so I asked the accountant. The accountant said my work would remain the same as before; it was just more convenient to sit in the sales department because I had to prepare shipping orders. That answer made me feel even more suspicious. The accounting department's workload was not heavy to begin with, which was why I was asked to help prepare shipping orders. Now that they had found a new employee to sit in my place, it was obvious they were trying to force me to leave. I had not done anything wrong, so I felt really upset. When I submitted my resignation to the accountant, they immediately accepted it with an apologetic expression, which made it obvious they had something to hide. Also, while I was helping prepare shipping orders during that period, the sales staff spoke to me very rudely. If I accidentally entered something incorrectly, they would speak as if they could not believe I had made a mistake. They should understand that I had only been there for a little over a week, not several years. Besides, I was not a member of the sales department; preparing shipping orders was something I was doing to help them. No wonder they can never find a sales assistant—serves them right!
Pros
The office is quieter than a library from morning to night
There are no annoying noises, such as employees breathing
Acceptable if you like an extremely quiet environment
Cons
Insisting on posting a vacancy even though there is clearly no staffing shortage
Having someone who is not a supervisor, without legitimate reason or authority, arbitrarily decide to fire people
Even the manager in charge of the core business does not know the real reason
Because you work all day, you will not interact with any other colleagues
You will only interact with that one person, who is probably just a somewhat more senior middle-aged woman
She watches your every move at all times and occasionally puts on a disgusting hypocritical smile
When a customer complaint call comes in, she immediately makes you answer the vendor's emotional tirade
She speaks spitefully and puts on an extremely affected manner when talking to vendors she thinks she knows well, making the entire office permeated with awkwardness
Requesting proof of involuntary resignation and then refusing to provide it
Even more laughable, despite not understanding labor laws, she arrogantly said: “There is no way your application will be approved.”
Before you had even left the company, while saying that the company had not treated you unfairly,
she kicked you out of every company group chat
She said everyone should part on good terms, but could only express her displeasure by kicking people out of group chats
If it were not for a very kind HR lady,
that non-supervisory middle-aged woman, you really have harmed this company, haha
I later learned that this middle-aged woman was disliked by everyone in the company
No wonder—this company has no complete system
When you proactively say you need help, she immediately responds rudely that she does not
Because she is older and is about to enter menopause, she curses people recklessly. It is truly appalling
