Overtime requires submitting an overtime request, and most importantly, they even restrict when requests can be submitted~
I heard that during a renovation, a coworker’s phone went missing and the coworker was required to pay compensation.
Pretty outrageous.
In my own case, the money they were supposed to give me at checkout went missing.
The day before, the boss’s dad had clearly come to collect it.
They insisted on pinning it on me.
I directly said, “Then report it to the police.”
There was no way I was going to admit fault and pay for it.
Only afterward did they make a sarcastic remark, saying, “I believe in your character.”
I don’t know whether they checked the surveillance footage and found that they themselves had taken it,
or whether they were just trying to save face.
Anyway, the place is absolutely terrible.
The benefits are unbelievably bad.
I heard there was once a store manager who had worked there for five years.
One year, his year-end bonus was a box of oranges.
He was so angry that he quit, haha.
