The salary is decent, and the supervisor is very nice.
The coworkers are easy to get along with—as long as you don’t go too far, basically everyone is easy to work with.
The work is physically demanding and really tiring. Most of the goods are children's books, so they are very heavy.
Break times are shortened.
For example: Every day, you have to start working 5–10 minutes before the officially scheduled start time. There are also meetings.
If work starts at 9:00, you begin at 8:50. At noon, you have to finish the final stage of whatever you are working on before you can leave for lunch.
Then you have to resume work by 12:55 at the latest. You hardly get any break at all.
The workload is very heavy. Other than the irregular lunch break, there is no mid-shift break.
You stand and walk all day. Some of the more senior employees keep a close eye on you and don’t give you time to catch your breath.
The environment is somewhat old, though not uncomfortable. It may feel stuffy and hot in summer.
After working there for a few days, I found it hard to tolerate not being able to take a proper break—it was really too tiring.
Otherwise, there isn’t much pressure.
