An infuriating interview
When I first entered the office, being told, “Sit here,” immediately made me feel that compared with the companies where I had interviewed before, they were very rude.
Then, after I finished filling out the information and sat waiting for nearly ten minutes, someone finally came in and said that the boss could not make it back in time, so the warehouse supervisor would conduct the interview.
We walked into the warehouse, and the person who brought me there pulled over a chair and told me to sit down first.
They whispered to the so-called warehouse supervisor, and I had no idea what they were talking about.
Then they left me sitting there alone like a plant, for all the part-time workers to look at.
The so-called warehouse supervisor came over and, laughing and joking with an unknown man, said:
“Hey, perfect~ You can conduct the interview! Just tell her about the job!”
The man said, “Why not have him come tomorrow!” and “Stand up and look—see what they’re doing. That’s what the job involves.”
Then what the hell was that interview in front of all those unrelated people? Have you ever encountered such a ridiculous interview?
Normally, interviews are one-on-one in a meeting room. What the hell does it mean to announce everything for everyone to hear? Am I here for a stand-up comedy routine?
With this kind of flippant, careless attitude, what do they take job seekers for?
I have already called the company’s owner to tell him how disrespectful his employees were and asked him to properly educate them.
Although I am not some once-in-a-lifetime talent, this absurd interview was practically an insult to the job seeker.
Do they think other people’s time isn’t time and their transportation costs aren’t money?
