Read the community guidelinesThe view is great from the higher floors~ If you’re feeling down, just look at the river view.
Completely violates the Labor Standards Act!!!! Seven days off per month, 8-hour workdays (of course, after clocking out, you’re expected to take responsibility for any work) and a salary of 25,000
The gap between a night shift and the following morning shift is less than 8 hours
The boss wants to save money and hires very few people, so there is only one front-desk staff member on each of the three shifts
There are many customers renting rooms for daytime rests, and the boss only wants to fill the rooms, even if it means making guests with reservations wait in the lobby until the day-use rooms are vacated
So busy that there’s no time to drink water or use the restroom; rotating shifts the next day makes it absolute hell
Room rates fluctuate wildly, anywhere from 1,000 to 6,000, depending on the boss’s mood that day
Instructions and decisions constantly change back and forth
Because the surrounding area is rather complicated, the boss is extremely poor at handling emergencies, dragging the front-desk staff into the mess
The company has no systems whatsoever and can’t retain employees, so whoever is working is the unlucky one—you may be told to clean rooms all day
If you can’t finish cleaning, just wait for tour guides and group guests to yell at you in the lobby
The horror stories are too numerous to list!!!! If you bring them up with the boss, they’ll tell you, “If you don’t like the job, just leave.”
Anyone who manages to stay must have an exceptionally strong liver and heart
