The position advertised was for a sales secretary, but in reality it was an outside sales position. The compensation was commission-based, with no base salary.
However, the job description on the employment website made no mention at all of having to do sales work.
It felt as though they were using the title “sales secretary” while actually recruiting for a sales position, leaving me feeling deceived into attending the interview.
