Pros

There are often snacks to eat in the afternoon! Colleagues also frequently share with one another.

Cons

When you join, you are only given an SOP and told to learn on your own, but the content is outdated and even contains errors! After you report them, you are simply told to fix them yourself.

You must take turns serving as the duty person, responsible for making tea, cleaning, ordering and picking up lunch boxes, and other miscellaneous tasks. New employees may even be required to run errands outside the office.

The evaluation system is strict. During the three-month probationary period, the salary is at least 10–20K lower than the figures listed on job websites! There is also an evaluation every month. If you fail any evaluation, you will be asked to leave that same day!

Pros

Applied for an international sales position and decided to attend the interview because the salary was listed as NT$45,000–50,000 on the 104 Job Bank. The written test was difficult and included typing PIs, preparing shipping documents, English logic questions, writing, international trade questions, and translation. However, because I had work experience in international sales, I was able to answer almost everything and completed it in about two hours.

Cons

The interview required an English self-introduction and an English sales presentation for a product of your choice, either a personal item or something in the conference room. Only at the end did they mention that the job consisted almost entirely of cold-calling and that you would be given a list of prospects; if you could not get customers to place orders within three months, you would have to leave the company. For international sales, developing new customers takes time, so this requirement is actually very difficult to meet!! The 104 Job Bank job description should state this requirement clearly from the outset so that job seekers do not waste their time!
