1. Changhua really has a bunch of terrible companies, and this company is no exception. On my first day, I rode my motorcycle to the company entrance and rang the doorbell, but no one answered. I then called the phone number on the offer, and a woman answered. I said, "I'm here to report for work today," and the woman said, "And?" I was quite stunned at the time—how could someone respond to me like that? I continued, "May I ask where I can park my motorcycle?" Only then did the woman say she would have someone show me. I later found out that the woman seemed to be the boss's younger sister. She had a terrible and arrogant attitude. I don't understand what there is to be proud of about this lousy company operating out of a residence. They made me feel upset on my very first day at work. I was completely speechless......

2. There was no real onboarding process on my first day, and no one proactively asked me to submit the required documents. It was only when I ran into that arrogant woman after work that she said I could hand them over then if I had brought them. On my first day, the boss taught me how to repair circuit boards, desolder components, and replace the LCDs on the boards, then said there were 200 customers' devices waiting for repair and that they had to be finished this week because they were urgently needed for shipment. It felt as though I was being treated as cheap labor. There was no basic training, and no one even inspected the things I had soldered—it was basically as if they had just thrown me there to repair things however I wanted.

3. Around noon on my third day, I suddenly decided to check my National Health Insurance enrollment information and discovered that the insured salary was far lower than the salary the company had offered me. This was clearly underreporting wages, although it was also possible that the salary the company offered me was not actually the same as what had been verbally discussed, because the company's offer contained no information whatsoever about the salary structure. Before reporting for work, I had emailed to ask about it, but they only said it was the salary they had agreed to during the interview. I had originally thought they would proactively explain the salary structure on my first day, but they did not mention any of it at all. They did not even tell me the payday, how to request leave, whom to notify, or how to contact them.

4. I had worked away from home for many years and wanted to move back to my wife's hometown with her, so I started looking for work in Changhua. I expected there to be many lousy companies in Changhua, so naturally my standards could not be the same as in Taichung or Hsinchu. But this company still opened my eyes. The company's basic bathroom facilities were filthy. Apart from the entrance on the first floor being somewhat clean, the second floor looked like an illegal building—run-down and dirty. It could not even provide employees with a comfortable restroom. I think this company has a very worrying future. I hope this lousy company disappears soon and stops harming young people.
