Read the community guidelinesDuring the interview, you may be required to work on a contract basis for one semester. During the contract period, you will not receive the benefits provided to full-time employees (bonuses, year-end bonuses, retention bonuses, etc.). For example, if the salary negotiated for the contract position is NT$36,000, after working for a while, you may be asked whether you want to become a full-time employee the following semester. However, the salary for the full-time position may actually be lower, by several thousand dollars. In addition, the contract may state that if you resign without just cause, nearly NT$10,000 may be deducted from your salary (as I recall), but this provision does not comply with the Labor Standards Act. Some colleagues were told during their interviews that they would be hired as full-time employees, so they received full-time benefits from the beginning. Over time, the salary difference can become substantial. If you are interviewing, it is recommended that you request a full-time position during the interview; otherwise, you may be one of only one or two contract employees, and your salary may be lower than that of other full-time employees who joined at the same time. Most colleagues are outgoing, the owner couple are very friendly, and the supervisors are also very nice.
