Pros

The office is clean, the employees are easy to get along with, there is often food, and because there are fewer products, the publisher restocks quickly.

Cons

1. The boss really likes sending messages in the middle of the night~

2. The boss also has no idea how the company operates.

3. The boss does not abide by the terms of the contract.

4. The boss’s preference for certain employees is extremely obvious; people who have done nothing wrong are still deliberately given a hard time.

5. The boss has paranoid delusions, thinking that all the employees are badmouthing him, and is very good at inventing nonexistent scenarios in his head.

6. The amount of work assigned in a month is impossible to finish.

7. The boss once asked customer service staff to do tasks outside customer service; when they refused, he became angry.

8. His mother comes to supervise your work and also gets upset when she finds out that you plan to resign.

9. His daughter is very noisy and keeps being brought to the office—it is incredibly annoying.

10. He is constantly asking employees to help collect debts from companies he works with.

11. He is the best at making empty promises, saying all day that he will take the Taiwanese employees to Vietnam to work as Taiwanese managers.

12. He says he wants to sign a contract, then goes abroad the next day—a truly bizarre move.

13. Because he is short-staffed, he asked an employee who was about to resign whether they could finish all of that month’s work for him; when salary was brought up, he immediately flew into a rage.

14. Editors handle customer service, shipping, and receiving all at once, with frequent overtime.

15. Product quality keeps declining, and he does nothing about it.

16. The writers of some of the teaching materials are international students in Taiwan, not qualified teachers. Since the company cannot afford to pay qualified teachers’ salaries, product quality has declined.

17. Sell Product A once, then take the content of Product A, turn it into Product B, and sell it again—extremely exploitative.

In summary, if you can accept having someone this crazy around, you can handle working here.

Pros

The company is not large; the full-time job responsibilities are unclear, and most employees are part-time workers.

Cons

1. Originally, you could work whenever you wanted and for as many hours as you wanted, but later the boss set a fixed number of hours.

2. The actual work content differed from what was initially described, and additional duties were added even for part-time workers.

3. The part-time job basically exploited you by having you do full-time work. If you failed to meet expectations, the boss's attitude would change and no longer be the same as before.

4. The boss often travels for work or works as a part-time teacher. When absent, the boss may still bombard you with messages to follow up on progress or performance.

5. The company is not large, and everything follows the boss's lead.
