This was the worst interview I have ever experienced, so I’m sharing this with anyone who is considering applying for an interview here.
The interview started as soon as they looked at my résumé. After I told them I was a recent graduate, they began complaining that graduates nowadays are useless and have absolutely no practical experience, asking what schools even teach, and going on about all sorts of irrelevant things. Then, although I was from a related field, they criticized me for not having an extensive experimental background.
They even said, “Do you think the company should pay you to learn? Or should you pay the company?” I was already furious just hearing that.
They said that they had worked while studying and that was how they earned their current title… But weren’t they also without any practical experience at the beginning??… After saying all that, it was obvious they simply did not want to train new employees. They also commented on my thesis and went on about all sorts of things, then kept saying that I should start from a basic sales position… After that day’s interview ended, I just wished I could pretend I had never come for this interview. (If you want to interview there,
it would be best to have a very strong background in relevant experiments and to be someone with ideas that could make the boss a fortune.)
