When a certain HR representative notified me about the interview, they only arranged the interview time with me. I told them to please notify me of the address through the job bank, but they said their job bank account had been closed and that they would inform me of the address by email later. However, they never sent me an email. On the day of the interview, because I did not arrive at the location, their company reported to the job bank that I had broken my appointment. Clearly, the company’s HR representative failed to properly provide the company address, yet they reported that I had failed to keep the appointment.
The e-commerce company’s operations are straightforward, and the colleagues are very easy to get along with.
The benefits you should have are provided; of course, there aren’t any extras either.
You really need to ask carefully about the things you should know, such as overtime pay and how perfect-attendance bonuses are calculated.
It’s a family-style office, so the restrooms are indoors. Although they are separated by gender, the soundproofing isn’t very good.
The head of the Marketing Department is a huge liability. Her catchphrase is: “Like this.”
The review process is extremely strange. She compares posts for adult products with posts from the beauty and food industries and compares their performance. When reviewing submissions, she initially says everything is fine after the work is completed, but once she is in a bad mood, she starts nitpicking and makes you change everything, which is a huge waste of both parties’ time. She is extremely emotional; you have to listen to her complain while working, and she will bring up the same issue again the next day. She really complains about the same things every day. Hold five department meetings, and all five will consist of exactly the same complaints—it’s truly impressive. She always talks about her past achievements? If she is really that capable, why did she end up here? Why didn’t she go work for Google? When criticizing others and her colleagues, she uses extremely rude, vulgar slang, with none of the composure or grace a normal manager should have. Her projects worth over NT$100,000 are the most important, so she keeps pushing aside projects from companies worth hundreds of millions. She showed her true colors about a week after I joined.... At present, it looks like she will stay at least until early 2026. Be extremely careful—don’t ignore the warning signs. Be extremely careful!!!!!!!!!!
People like this are frightening because they constantly suppress employees’ freedom. Yet she keeps making wrong decisions and communicates with employees according to her own emotions. She also does not want to listen to employees’ opinions or experience. Working under her is stressful, and you may even lose sight of whether what you are doing is right or wrong! Be extremely careful—don’t ignore the warning signs. Be extremely careful!!!!!!!!!!
