This page collects workplace experiences, questions and discussions submitted by users. Dates shown are submission dates, not periods of employment. Individual reports do not describe the entire company.
Read the community guidelinesBasically, the other party is also looking to hire entry-level candidates, so it’s okay if you don’t know much. Just try to show as much enthusiasm as possible XD
Where are you from? (Distance from the work location)
The main purpose is to understand whether the distance between the interviewee and the workplace is too far or too close.
How do you get here? (Mode of transportation)
The main purpose is to understand the interviewee’s commuting situation.
What have you studied in the past?
I had just graduated from university and studied an information-related field, so I honestly described my academic background and experience. If that isn’t the case, I think it would also be fine to answer based on your work experience—but just give a brief overview. If the interviewer is interested, they will ask you to elaborate :)
Have you participated in any clubs?
Since I had just graduated from university, the conversation naturally turned to my university experience, probably to learn more about my personality traits.
What are your salary expectations?
When they start discussing compensation—that is, salary—you can assess and understand the job responsibilities based on the earlier introduction to the position, and then negotiate accordingly. You can also consider your own situation. Usually, though, the expected offer will not change. The process reveals your level of interest and gives you an opportunity to advocate for your own rights, so make good use of this moment! Whatever you do, don’t just brush it off by saying “according to company policy”—that’s really terrible!!!
Do you have any questions? (Assignment location)
I thought of a few questions about the assignment location that you can use as a reference. Will I need to return to the company from time to time? For holidays, do I follow the company’s schedule or that of the host organization?
Do you have any questions? (Salary)
I thought of a few salary-related questions that you can use as a reference. What is the monthly salary? How long is the probationary period? What will the salary be after the probationary period? Is there a year-end bonus?
Do you have any questions? (Other)
I thought of a few other questions that you can use as a reference. How long is the probationary period? What are the working hours? Do I clock in and out? What are the meal arrangements (lunch break)? Is there a transportation allowance?
