Read the community guidelinesDuring the interview, the owner carefully reviewed my portfolio and discussed my work experience with me. The process was fairly pleasant. The company is located in a residential apartment building, and the space is not very large, giving it the feeling of chatting at a colleague’s home. It looks like a brand that is still developing. I only saw two employees that day. I asked why they had posted more than a dozen job openings, and they said they would move into a department store at the end of the year, with plans for a physical store afterward as well.
The website also looks quite decent.
This company does not provide labor or health insurance.
The position I originally applied for was in procurement, but because I have a background in fashion design, the owner hoped I could also take on design work, and I quoted her a price.
However, when we discussed the salary, she was instead rather vague and brushed past the topic, hoping that I would accept working without labor and health insurance before discussing the salary. She told me that I could simply reply through the job bank, and the interview ended.
As a result, I replied that evening that I was interested in taking the job and hoped we could discuss the salary first. The next day, all of the company’s job postings had unexpectedly been closed. Was she making fun of me? I found it completely baffling.
