Probably the worst kind of art gallery.
The working environment is extremely poor. In the summer, when there are no customers, employees are not allowed to turn on the air conditioning (nor are they allowed to decide whether the paintings need air conditioning).
The warehouse is a complete mess, with no temperature or humidity control and no air conditioning—absolutely worse than your home storage room.
The boss is an extremely stingy person with bipolar disorder who basically takes out their emotional frustrations on employees.
The gallery’s entire operating policy is “saving money above all else.”
Every extra penny spent is deducted directly from your paycheck.
No matter how long ago I left, I still find it utterly absurd.
A cancer on the art world—please go out of business soon and stop harming everyone under the banner of having returned from New York.
The colleagues are very nice.
The working environment is extremely poor and does not comply with labor laws (no compensatory leave or overtime pay, no clocking in or out, no pay during the probationary period, insufficient lunch breaks, no written employment contract, etc.). The boss is extremely stingy with employees, has a bad temper, and scolds people harshly. They also arbitrarily interpret works to promote themselves, yet claim that their interpretations are what the artist said.
