Pros

1. Coworkers are easy to get along with.

2. You can do your own thing; as long as you finish the work within the allotted time, that’s all that matters—although it’s better when the boss isn’t around.

Cons

1. The boss will ask you to do miscellaneous tasks outside your job duties: asking the graphic designer to run errands, asking sales staff to make deliveries, asking accounting staff to prepare ingredients, and so on. The boss also says that they don’t like giving people raises.

2. The boss verbally harasses young female employees, saying things like asking you to put on makeup so you’ll be pleasing to look at, or deliberately standing very close in an attempt to make physical contact.

3. Treats the company’s money as their own and spends it freely.

4. Any small matter involving money requires a written approval request.

5. The boss smokes in the office.

6. During meetings with clients, the boss calls unrelated employees in to accompany them for tea, making you listen to them exaggerate how capable they are.

7. Employees are also expected to clean the ashtray used by the boss, the tea ware they drink from, and the trash can.

8. Even after an employee has already gone out once to buy lunch for everyone, the boss insists that the employee go out again specifically to buy the food they want.

9. The boss owes money all over the place, constantly causing the accounting staff to be chased down and berated by creditors.

10. Doesn’t pay the overtime required under labor regulations, and doesn’t pay for work-related Line messages after hours either.

11. The company is running increasingly low on money and has almost been unable to pay employees’ wages. It is recommended that you not join.

12. Constantly badmouths former employees whom they drove away, telling lies that are completely different from the facts.
