Read the community guidelinesThe interview process did not require any tests
1. I applied for a graphic designer position, but the proportion of work involving other administrative duties was relatively high.
2. I was required to provide a front-and-back photocopy of a "guarantor's" ID card. See below for details.
The interview process was fairly simple, with no computer-based or other tests. The interview took place in the office at the very back. Mainly, a man asked me some basic questions, while another woman beside him also asked me some questions during the process. There were no major issues during the interview. I was notified on the spot that I had been hired and was asked to open a bank account and prepare some documents. What was unusual was that I was required to provide a front-and-back photocopy of a "guarantor's" ID card. I had never encountered this requirement in my previous job-hunting experience. They explained that because my work might involve handling relatively large amounts of money, they needed the guarantor's information as a form of guarantee. This left me very confused because I had applied for a graphic designer position, which should not involve collecting money. They explained that my duties would be quite diverse and would not be limited to graphic design; I would also have to perform other administrative work and might even be trained to become a tour leader.
Afterward, I called the Taichung City Government Labor Affairs Bureau to ask about the requirement to provide a photocopy of a guarantor's ID card. A government official told me, "There is no such requirement, and you may choose not to provide it." I also asked a friend who works in the same field, and their company had no such requirement either.
