The boss verbally attacks employees
The office is fairly nice, I suppose.
I sincerely advise anyone thinking of joining this company not to do so. The pay is really low, yet you have to do a lot of pointless tasks.
1. The boss and supervisors are all emotional.
2. You may be required to help with the boss’s and supervisors’ personal matters.
3. There is no overtime pay (standard practice in the design industry).
4. They accept unreasonable deadlines requested by clients, causing employees to be unable to finish their work and to work overtime until the following day in the middle of the night for several consecutive days.
5. Regarding the previous point, if they feel you have not met their requirements, they may simply refuse to pay your year-end bonus.
6. They require employees to perform duties that were not mentioned during the interview.
7. Regarding the previous point, employees may be laid off because they did not perform these unmentioned duties well enough.
8. Severance pay for laid-off employees is not calculated according to the Labor Standards Act.
9. They announce raises and bonuses in group chats, but then do not provide them.
10. The boss may call and harass former employees’ family members.
11. The boss may go to former employees’ homes to harass their family members.
12. The pay is already low, and the company does not even insure employees at the equivalent salary bracket for labor and health insurance.
13. Vendors working with the company have difficulty submitting invoices and collecting payment from the company, causing them to repeatedly bother employees.
