Legacy reviews: 1
This page collects workplace experiences, questions and discussions submitted by users. Dates shown are submission dates, not periods of employment. Individual reports do not describe the entire company.
Read the community guidelines1. Compared with other food and beverage jobs, the end time is earlier, and it is a single shift.
2. The uniform is collected and laundered by the company.
3. Desserts discarded that day can be eaten (but cannot be taken home).
4. The boss occasionally treats us to drinks or provides samples to try.
5. The store manager is quite friendly and seems very willing to listen to everyone’s opinions.
1. The turnover rate is very high, and labor and health insurance are not enrolled immediately on the first day.
When reporting for work, veteran employees were still chatting nearby about things like “rotten strawberries” and not wanting to train new employees anymore.
2. The break is only half an hour (and you have to clock in and out properly).
3. Customer traffic is disorganized, and every employee does things differently; there is no consistent standard.
4. On your first day, they tell you to take it slow and just ask if you forget.
But by the second day, you are expected to know how to package items, handle cakes (the crème brûlée and savory pies need to be baked separately), and proactively introduce products to customers.
Then the veteran employees will even take over your work and complain, “Why are you moving so slowly!” ^_^
5. The company cares a lot about whether there are negative Google reviews, so it is best to stay on your toes.
6. After resigning, you must return to the company to sign for and collect your wages.
