The décor makes you think this place is very new, but the internal systems are extremely corrupt. This is a place where rule by individuals takes precedence over the rule of law—a totalitarian regime. If you want to get ahead here, you first need to cozy up to certain people. Certain cushy positions always end up in the hands of specific people; everything is arranged in advance.
The work is highly repetitive and very boring. You cannot look at other websites, and there is no room for development, making it difficult to move up. The leave policy is terrible—it is as if they would prefer you never take leave at all. People doing the same work receive different pay; the salary difference may be nearly twofold. In the end, you discover that the pay gap comes from how early someone joined the company or whether they know influential people, rather than differences in ability. The threshold for a raise is extremely high and difficult to meet. You may work hard year after year and still end up earning the same salary forever.
The dining area is very small, and sometimes there are not even enough seats. When listening to lectures, they never provide chairs or small stools; employees are always made to sit on the floor for two hours. Management does not have to sit for two hours themselves, yet they get very upset when employees do not sit properly.
There are no company-wide employee trips, only trips for outstanding employees—but the criteria and selection process for being considered outstanding are completely opaque.
