Basically a family business. The boss is a carpenter himself and also has another company. He only values the carpenters because they help him make money; everyone else is considered useless. Even after signing many projects, he still thinks we are not doing anything. There are absolutely no bonuses, not even an annual bonus. The boss will only tell you that the company did not make money, so there is no year-end bonus. But this year, they signed more than a thousand projects and no one knows where the money went—it was used to fill the holes left by their previous reckless spending. No matter how seriously or diligently you work, you will not get a share of the bonus. If you want to apply, you may only be able to apply for a site operations position, which pays more and includes overtime pay, at the same rate as the carpenters. Designers receive no overtime pay at all. At every meeting, you are required to raise questions, but when you do, they say you are complaining. Who is really complaining? They also do not allow designers to visit construction sites because they are afraid you will take private jobs outside the company. If you want to slack off, kill time, and earn a small but stable income, you can apply here. But if you are too opinionated, you will not last here~
