The company is in Taishan, a remote area with not much to eat. The interviewers’ attitude was terrible. If you’re considering interviewing here, think twice—there are plenty of better options!
None
The location is remote, and there isn’t much to eat nearby.
The factory and office are together,
so even when staying in the office, you can hear the machines constantly making a buzzing sound.
Also, the boss interviewed me.
He claimed to be straightforward and dislike beating around the bush,
but was actually somewhat arrogant, very good at making grand promises,
and quite disrespectful...
He asked about my salary expectations, and I answered 28,000.
He seemed shocked and said, “You’re asking for a very high salary.”
But if someone without experience asks for a high salary, they either have to be very beautiful and have a great figure, or be extremely capable (I’m slightly overweight and not beautiful).
I felt offended.
There’s no need to insult someone based on their appearance and body, right?
He even showed me other people’s résumés and said,
“Look, the others are asking for 22 or 23” (so??)
“Why can you ask for 28 when you have no experience?”
Then he asked how much I earned at my previous job.
I answered 25,
and he said, “Then I’ll also give you 25, including a 1,000 perfect-attendance bonus.”
Two days later, he sent me an email saying I had been hired and telling me to start work on the XXth.
He didn’t even ask whether I was willing to accept; his tone was full of commands, which was utterly ridiculous.
After humiliating someone like that, he still expects them to go work there? Seriously?
Maybe I’m just being too sensitive....
