Read the community guidelinesThe boss and supervisors are all very nice, and you can interact with them like friends. Being a little late to work is okay, and arranging time off is easy to work out.
Some colleagues have an overly strong sense of superiority and the typical old-timer mentality. They can’t cultivate newcomers who stay for the long term—isn’t that right, you’re still looking?
No-experience probation period: 2.3k for three months, then 2.5k after three months
Suitable for retirement and taking it easy
You don’t need to clock in at work—just sign in. Sometimes you can leisurely eat breakfast outside the company while waiting for someone to come open the door; there’s a breakfast shop right next door.
You can eat lunch outside. Taking a full one-hour break to do your own thing is fine. Although everyone works overtime, no one will say anything if you leave on time.
The main work involves bids for government agencies or companies. There is a fairly high chance of being assigned work beyond the responsibilities stated in the job application (there was no full-time graphic designer during my time there). Common projects include promotional image videos for construction projects and government agencies; search YouTube for reference videos.
Remember to bring water to work. The company only has a hot-water dispenser, and you probably won’t feel comfortable constantly drinking from the company’s small bottled-water supply.
Overtime pay was only provided after labor-management mediation. Before that, it was neither calculated nor proactively mentioned. However, the company advised young people not to be so impulsive and particular, saying that no company follows the Labor Standards Act perfectly. For workers’ reference; let’s encourage one another.
After joining and chatting with them, I realized they had no idea what you had done before or which software you knew how to use.
The turnover is high, and the manager is very busy, repeatedly saying they had no time for new employees.
The senior colleague had only been there a long time and did not know how to train people. When I asked for the contact information of a long-term printing partner, they politely refused (saying I should provide the specifications and they would ask on my behalf).
Use JPG files when sending materials to print.
You may repeatedly finish a task only to receive internal working-style advice in a meeting along the lines of, “This is how we do it” or “This is how I would do it.” It is best to develop the habit of writing meeting minutes and backing up versions, since they are so busy that they will inevitably forget what they themselves said.
For off-site assignments, after confirming that the company has finished filming, they will take you back so you can pick up your vehicle and then return to the company. Otherwise, you will have to figure out how to get home yourself or wait until a colleague finishes work at seven or eight and is willing to drive you back to pick up your vehicle.
The company should have a new-employee training SOP to help people understand its internal working style and its business beyond marketing. It should also adjust the senior colleague’s aggressive way of speaking, so that so many people do not leave within a year.
The supervisor and boss are very nice; they’re just too busy.
The main reason I don’t want to stay is that old-timer colleague. You think you’re so great, but you’ve only worked here a little longer. Why don’t you go see the world outside? You’re nothing but a frog!!
I want to ask if you’d like to go abroad to compete!!!
The people in the company who want to resign are all because of you (you’re a lousy teammate).
No need to clock in at work; just sign in
The air conditioning is very cool
The office atmosphere is unusually cold and distant. Coworkers generally do not greet each other or ask how one is doing; it feels a bit robotic and devoid of warmth. Even when eating together, everyone looks at the news while eating, creating an awkward atmosphere (the company claims on the surface to be like a family, but it is an awkward one). Things become a little more lively when discussing matters in meetings together (but usually everyone has to follow the manager’s ideas). Although the manager says he will make people leave work on time, everyone works overtime until 7 or 8 p.m. anyway. If you leave on time, you actually feel strange saying goodbye to everyone, because they are all still working overtime.
