The owner of this company has two companies operating together.
The work also gets mixed together.
After work and during holidays, no matter whether you are busy or whatever, you have to reply to the owner's LINE messages. You also have to answer his calls, even when his messages are not important at all.
A few days ago, I spoke with a former colleague to find out what was going on.
Even the only employee at his other company has left.
That is an advertising company, and the employee seemed to be a sales assistant.
But apparently, they had to be a salesperson, graphic designer, site supervisor, delivery person, and social media editor, being worked to the bone like that.
The administrative assistant on the Fureddy side likewise has to pack orders, handle customer service, know how to manage the website backend, and know marketing planning.
Apparently, there are only two people left there as well.
The accountant has to be proficient in all kinds of skills, even removing backgrounds from images.
After hearing them talk about it, I couldn't bear to listen anymore. Fortunately, I left early.
Apparently, there used to be a marketing planner. The owner even told them that doing this kind of work meant being on duty 24 hours a day with no days off, constantly coming up with ideas, so they shouldn't think that their responsibilities ended when they got off work.
Apparently, it was taken for granted that employees would work after hours, and they would not be paid overtime.
It seems that what happened to me was not a big deal either—basically, the owner just bullied me verbally.
Then he would say that he hadn't meant any harm.
Apparently, hurting other people's self-esteem through the way you speak doesn't count as malicious.
