Marketing and administrative intern
Applied for a marketing position but was assigned to the procurement and customer service departments
HR even insisted that I could learn things related to marketing
They fundamentally do not understand applicants' needs
They asked me to take photos of food, calling it “helping out”
This is completely different from what people who want to work in marketing have in mind ^_^
When training new employees, they never explain things clearly even once
Then they blame the new employees for not following company procedures
They even admitted that the company has no so-called SOP
They ask interns what they did wrong
Yet they do not allow them to answer honestly ^_^
They only want to hear what they themselves want to hear
They casually make false accusations against interns
They insist on treating things they never communicated as the interns' fault
In short, it is a company with very little structure,
no consideration for its employees,
and extremely low pay
They even insist that interns receive the same benefits as full-time employees
They simply want you to do a full-time employee's work for an intern's pay
A family-owned company with several affiliated companies, but it doesn’t feel like there are many benefits.
I originally applied for a full-time position, but was notified that I would first work for hourly pay and then become a full-time employee the following month. After working for two days, they told me to get lost.
They said I was late and that the department felt I was difficult to get along with, and that I couldn’t do anything. I had only been there for two days, and they hadn’t really taught me anything. What kind of nonsense is that?? Also, you have to clock out for lunch, and I was inexplicably fired.
