Read the community guidelinesThe colleagues are pretty nice and friendly, and the environment is also good.
1. During the interview, they discussed a salary of NT$28,000, with one hour of overtime every day and additional overtime pay. I was told I would ultimately receive over NT$30,000.
However, when I received my salary the month after starting, I discovered that there was no overtime pay.
The accounting department said that the company did not have overtime pay in the first place.
The manager who interviewed me changed their wording, saying that the actual NT$28,000 total included overtime pay, with one hour of overtime every day.
I asked another new employee who started at the same time as me, and they also said that during the interview, the salary discussed was the base salary plus overtime pay.
I felt that this was different from what had been discussed during the interview, so I immediately submitted my resignation.
2. The company did not enroll me in labor and health insurance immediately; it took many days before they did so.
The interview process was efficient, the office environment was okay, and the benefits and leave conditions all complied with government regulations. Everything was fairly standard.
There is a fixed requirement to work one hour of overtime every day, but overtime pay is provided, so it’s not too bad.
Since I didn’t join the company, I don’t know what problems there might be.
