The questions asked in the interview were not entirely related to the position. They were mostly rather private and personal questions, which felt quite unprofessional. The company's basic information form was also very poorly made. I don't know why it was necessary to fill in the organization of the company from my previous job. It is quite strange. According to Article 5, Paragraph 1 of the Employment Service Act: “To ensure equal employment opportunities for nationals, an employer shall not discriminate against a job applicant on the grounds of race, class, language, ideology, religion, political party, place of origin, place of birth, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, appearance, facial features, physical or mental disability, zodiac sign, blood type, or former trade union membership; where other laws provide otherwise, those provisions shall apply.” An employer that violates this paragraph shall, in accordance with Article 65, Paragraph 1 of the Employment Service Act, be subject to a fine of not less than NT$300,000 and not more than NT$1.5 million for violating Article 5, Paragraph 1 or related provisions.
