Read the community guidelinesThe work is fairly flexible, but there is a system based on responsibility.
The small company is undergoing transformation, and many policies are not very clearly defined.
It is not suitable for people without experience working in traditional industries.
Interview position: Mechanical Assistant Engineer
The interview includes filling out two forms.
1. Company personal information form
What is rather unusual is that the back asks you to provide information about your previous company and related information about your supervisors or colleagues (perhaps they may call them to ask questions related to the applicant if there is an issue).
2. A test related to the position you are applying for
It consists entirely of professional concepts related to the job.
For example: What is yield strength? ...and so on.
The interviewing supervisor was very polite. They reviewed the mistakes with me, then told me the correct answers.
At the end, they took me to see some actual products and explained the company’s products, giving the applicant a better understanding.
They also explained the duties related to the position, compensation, and so on.
The company’s supervisors are generally around 30–50 years old. They are fairly young-minded and focus on personal attitude, experience, and test results.
P.S.
The company’s first generation made screws.
It was only after the second generation returned from studying abroad that the company transformed into making underwater detectors.
So the company shares the same building with the first-generation business.
The first floor is for screws, while the second floor is for underwater detectors.
Oh, the supervisor hopes employees can finish their work before leaving, so you will not leave work on time. Usually, you stay until 18:30–19:00.
None
1. The interviewer explained the job responsibilities, salary, and benefits very clearly.
2. They also send a notification email if you are not selected.
The work location may change. I think it would be better for both parties if this were stated on the job site from the beginning.
