Basically, they use a scattershot strategy.
The company is in the startup stage.
You can check the official exhibitor pages for the trade shows they claim to attend and find that they actually do not have exhibition booths (as for why they list them without having their own booths, I have no idea).
As soon as you join the company, they have you collect exhibitor information and then call them one by one to ask whether they are interested in our products, followed by sending business development emails. If there is no response, the company says you must call them again.
Basically, it is a vicious cycle.
There is no comprehensive training, only an introduction to the company's own products.
For the rest, they basically give you some materials and leave you to figure things out on your own.
The boss likes to answer employees' questions with rhetorical questions. Employees have to conduct cold outreach every day.
(Basically, it is the English-language version of selling insurance.)
