Meetings last at least two hours on average, listening to the boss recount their own “glorious achievements.” Since working hours are all spent in meetings, you must show up whenever summoned on weekends, and you may even be berated for applying for overtime.
Following the boss’s instructions makes you a good employee; you don’t need to have any judgment of your own. Any credit goes to how capable they are, while any lack of success is your problem.
The workplace is all about sycophantic relationships, with everyone wearing a mask to work every day. Having connections and backing is what matters most. If you weren’t born into the right circumstances, consider carefully whether your flattery skills are up to the task before coming here.

The chairman and vice president were parachuted in as civil servants, and their reputations are extremely poor. When the company initially had more than 20 employees, the two of them drove many people out as soon as they joined. There are currently 15 employees left. They make sarcastic and snide remarks about you, and will also gang up on and drive people out. They favor job applicants with power and connections. They like to pressure employees to work after hours and on weekends. If you do not answer calls or respond to messages after work, they will also bully you together with the vice president.
