Pros

The salary is paid on time

The employees are all nice

Cons

They opened an art store in a commercial district.

The store manager is the person in charge of that store.

They all came from office jobs to work in this industry,

so they manage people in a very office-like manner.

There is no passion, only seriousness.

They always discuss work-related matters with you.

Moreover, the store manager always looks sour, as if you owe her something.

Even when asking you for help, her tone is not very pleasant.

Previously, there was a full-time employee who had been friends with her (the store manager) for several years. The store manager asked that employee to come help, but then drove them away.

Everything has to be done her way.

If there is anything you do poorly, she will deliberately make things difficult for you until you can’t take it anymore.

The work is extremely boring and dull

Pros

Pros: I’m quite certain there are none.

Cons

I hope someone can read this review before going for an interview, because I used to work at this terrifying black-hearted company.

This was the first time I wondered how a company like this could exist—and it really does! Please read the following carefully in full!!!

I joined this company in 2020 as an online customer service representative (it is still recruiting on 104 now), and I have since escaped.

Work arrangements:

9:30–18:30 (That’s what it says on 104, and it’s accurate.)

After getting off work at 18:30, you still need to reply to customers (104 also says this, and it is disclosed in advance, so okay.)

But here’s the key point: “If you don’t reply within half an hour, you will receive one demerit. After accumulating around 3–5 demerits, your bonus will be deducted”!

During Double 11 or other festivals, when Tmall or Taobao has promotional events, after getting off work at 18:30, you have to return to the company at 22:00 to review orders.

“You work from 22:00 until 5:00 a.m. before you can go home”—during this entire period, there is no overtime pay. Supervisor Chen will say: “You already receive a bonus for reviewing orders, and that counts as overtime pay.”

If you offend this so-called supervisor (because he is extremely unfit to be a supervisor), he will use all the authority he has to bully you.

I forgot to mention another company rule: If your performance bonus ranks at the bottom for three consecutive months, NT$2,000–3,000 will be deducted from your bonus. “Supervisor” Chen said this rule was established to motivate employees not to slack off. Is this legal?

So, as I mentioned earlier about “bullying,” if you offend the supervisor, he will assign the orders he reviews to other people, making sure you rank at the bottom and leave.

At the time, my family had always taught me that harmony is most important, so I chose not to argue. Besides, it was only a small amount of money, and I didn’t want to file a complaint or make a fuss.

So I swallowed my anger and resigned!!!

After leaving this company, I was worried that someone else might be like me—naively deceived without knowing what they were getting into—so I wrote this review specifically to warn others.

Additional note: Many of the company’s art products have expired and can no longer be used, yet they are still sold to customers at low prices. Customers only discover after receiving them that they are completely unusable. And as a customer service representative, don’t expect the supervisor to help you. He will only tell you to handle it, then blame you for not handling it properly.

Please, everyone, think it through carefully. Alternatively, if you only want to work for three months and then leave, this company is an option: learn how to operate the Tmall and Taobao platforms, then leave immediately.
