Pros

Beautiful on the outside; lovely colleagues; decent work environment

Cons

The boss frequently changes decisions at the drop of a hat, and has extremely poor communication and comprehension skills, making it impossible to clearly communicate requirements and often causing employees to work for nothing.

Requires unpaid overtime in the name of a responsibility-based system. Regular working hours start at 9:00, but employees are required to arrive at 7:30 for studio work, regardless of their wishes.

Very narrow-minded. They will deliberately hold meetings to put already-departed employees’ work on display for a public shaming session, and even naively think that reporting a layoff will leave a bad record for others 🤔🤔🤔

An absolute dinosaur. They are unfamiliar with many basic updates to the Labor Standards Act and even need employees to educate them, while naively thinking that everyone else is unaware—when in fact, people simply do not want to argue with them.

Does not keep their word. When I resigned, they said they were willing to offer a raise to retain me, but ultimately gave me no money and tricked me into staying for one extra month 👎🏻

Pros

The work environment and interior decor aren’t bad, but that’s only because the boss really cares about saving face.

Cons

The boss won’t budget for purchasing or upgrading the tools needed to make money.

Employees have to improvise and do many things the hard way.

Even if you’re not familiar with photography, you’ll be forced to do photography work.

And in 99% of situations, the boss doesn’t know what she actually wants.

She’ll tell you to do something yesterday, then tell you the next day that yesterday’s work is all scrapped and that you have to start over with a completely different version today.

She’ll tell you to make something and just get started; if you ask about its purpose and intended use, she’ll reply that she doesn’t know.

You can look up additional information on 104 Job Bank.

Those who see this post don’t need to thank me.

Think it through carefully for yourselves.

Or you can come work here and experience it for yourselves—that’s fine too.

By the first or second day, you’ll strongly agree with everything I’ve written here.

To everyone from Zhonghe, Yonghe, Xindian, and Muzha: take care.
