Read the community guidelinesThe interview was fairly normal.
1. During the initial video interview, HR said that the second interview would involve completing one task on a computer. However, during the interview that day, I was asked to create one graphic in four different layouts. I spent forty minutes on it (it was extremely rushed). When I said I wanted to delete the files, I was stopped.
2. During the interview, they confidently said they could meet the salary and benefits I requested. Later, I received a notice that I had not been selected (I remember it took quite a long time to arrive). Then, a week later, I received a call saying they hoped I could come work for them. However, the email outlining the salary and benefits offered a salary much lower than what I had originally requested.
3. The job responsibilities did not match the listing on 104.
The position was advertised as a marketing designer (graphic designer/visual design staff), but later I was also expected to handle social media management, posting, and so on.
Summary:
This is a company that treats job seekers disrespectfully and handles things very poorly.
Job seekers should be careful.
The company has major internal communication problems.
They initially said that, after assessing the situation, there was not much demand for video work and that this position was not needed. However, after further discussion within the company, they said there was still a need for video work.
They are simply playing games with job seekers.
If there is no need, please do not waste job seekers’ time by inviting them to interviews.
If there is a need, please do not disrespect job seekers’ salary expectations.
