The bonus is difficult to earn, and it won’t be paid until the month after next. If you resign, it simply won’t be paid.
The base salary plus perfect-attendance bonus and meal allowance is slightly higher than in general industries, at around NT$27,000.
The performance targets are changed every month. Whenever someone receives a relatively high bonus, that bonus item is immediately modified or removed the following month. In the end, it is basically impossible to receive bonuses, and they set up all kinds of deductions. Even if you do receive one, a large portion is deducted. Overtime is forcibly converted into compensatory leave; otherwise, it will not be approved. Most outrageously, before the Lunar New Year, they said that working during the holiday would be paid at double the normal rate, but afterward they said there was no double pay—only one day of compensatory leave.
