Cons

It’s 2021, and this isn’t even a large company, yet they’re still conducting a second-round interview, wasting a lot of time. The job description and requirements were also unclear. When I called to ask, they said the interview would provide more information, but the interview itself was completely uninformative. For the second-round interview, I met with a different person, and it only lasted five minutes. They didn’t explain anything about the job and just asked some pointless questions. They didn’t even discuss the salary before saying they would notify me. This company is very good at wasting other people’s time.

Pros

The office environment is pretty good.

Cons

1. The interviewer asked who had scheduled the interview with me. When she heard that it was her, she seemed very surprised, as if she had forgotten that she had scheduled an interview for today.

2. Before starting the interview, the interviewer read my résumé in front of me, which again gave me the impression that she had not prepared in advance.

3. After asking about my previous job responsibilities, the interviewer explained the skills required for the position they were recruiting for, and I was completely unqualified for it.

However, the job posting on 104 contained no description of the skills required for the position. In addition, I had listed my previous work experience and skills in bullet points on my résumé precisely so that the company would not waste time looking for someone.

The first and second points were entirely a result of the third point, which left me with a very negative impression.

I can understand that interviewers have work-related matters to handle and need to make time for interviews, so they may occasionally forget or overlook things. However, it is precisely these details that reveal a company’s attitude toward new members joining the organization.

It is like when an interviewee shows up for an interview dressed casually—you would likewise feel that the interviewee did not take the interview seriously.
