1. The working environment is very poor. The stairs are piled with foreign workers’ luggage, and things like the refrigerator are placed in a space added outside with corrugated metal sheets.
2. The interviewer had not read the applicant’s résumé in advance. After asking the applicant to come to the interview, she then said that they could not offer me the salary I expected, and that we could continue discussing things only if I was willing to accept it; otherwise, I could leave. It was truly a waste of my time to make the trip, and the entire interview lasted less than three minutes. She also kept questioning whether the previous salary I listed on my résumé was inflated.
