Read the community guidelines1. The projects are all very large and relatively stable, so you can gain experience working on many substantial projects.
2. There is almost no overtime (except for the managers above you).
3. The salary is also at a decent level.

5. The boss is very nice and protective of employees. He doesn’t put on airs and generally doesn’t really monitor what you’re doing (he’s extremely busy). He speaks very logically and is extremely incisive when criticizing, but he is also very willing to listen to employees’ opinions (as long as you can persuade him).
6. Work is basically pretty relaxed because each project takes a long time, and urgent projects are rare.
7. The company is small, but it does have some structure.
1. Salary increases are extremely slow, roughly NT$1,000 per year (unless your project is extremely important).
2. There are no bonuses for the three traditional festivals (only rice dumplings and mooncakes, plus everyone shares a slice of a 10-inch cake on your birthday).
3. The boss loves to chat. During their first few weeks, new employees are occasionally called into his office for very long conversations and can’t get out for an entire afternoon.
4. He also talks for a very long time when interviewing candidates.
5. The boss is very stingy and nitpicks over anything related to money.
6. The annual company banquet is exhausting. After dinner, you still have to go sing and drink until midnight. With no transportation home, you have to call a taxi—it’s completely crazy.
