I still remember the boss saying during the interview that the people here were kind, easy to get along with, and that there was training.
In reality, there was no training. The kindness only lasted at the beginning. On the surface, the atmosphere was harmonious, but the training consisted of teaching you response techniques that were almost never useful and telling you how busy they were handling reservations and room bookings. The so-called training was something you had to ask for yourself, and others would respond depending on their mood. Meanwhile, the senior staff engaged in all kinds of conflicts and disliked people who did not want to get involved in office politics. Three people left within about a month. From what I observed, those who resigned were all quiet people who focused on their work and did not engage in office politics. In short, you had to curry favor with people; otherwise, you could not stay.
