During the two entirely English interviews (with HR and another manager), both managers had very good English skills. At least they could understand what I was saying and converse fluently with me.
1. Although the company is in the gambling industry, it kept concealing this and refused to explain it clearly. From the very beginning of the interview, they lied and said it was a position at a mainland China branch. However, when they eventually sent the offer, it was entirely for another mainland Chinese company. Only after HR was unable to answer my questions did they say that, in fact, a company in mainland China had asked them to help recruit people.
2. During the second-round interview with an overseas manager, I only found out upon arrival that it was a video interview. After the entire interview was conducted in English, I discovered that the manager had never introduced himself. Not only did I not know who he was, but after asking further, I found out that even his profile picture was fake—it was a photo of a foreigner. Only after I pressed them did I learn that he was a manager of Chinese nationality. What were they trying to conceal by using a fake profile picture? I even had to keep asking before they would reluctantly tell me who my future manager would be, let alone provide any other company information.
3. We had originally agreed on a salary and agreed that I would first undergo six months of training in Taipei before being assigned overseas. I was preparing to accept the offer, but when I finally received it, the salary was a full NT$10,000 less than what we had originally discussed. They also directly required me to report overseas three days later, without HR clearly explaining anything about airfare, accommodation, or meals. Who would dare go under these circumstances?
