This company is one of the branches of Longye Baiqi, a traditional industry with traditional ideas.
I advise those considering joining to think carefully. It’s really difficult to make money here, and you’ll feel terrible every day.
The boss will also often message you on LINE to complain and ask you to act as a go-between and messenger.
The work environment is pretty good.
If you work in marketing, absolutely do not apply for a marketing position here. The boss has no standards and does not trust your abilities. There is no manager and no sales staff, so you will ultimately end up doing sales. There are especially many miscellaneous tasks, with no advertising budget and no exposure budget. The boss only looks at results (the required ROAS is 10). He only cares that the products can be sold. Marketing proposals and plans have to be written all the way through to execution, but they have never actually been implemented. I genuinely feel that you should not waste your time coming here to suffer. This money is really difficult to earn. The boss is also involved in Amway-style direct selling, with a dinner gathering every week or even every two weeks, and will ask you to provide support. You will also have to cater to his friends.
Overall:
1. The company has many resources, but is unwilling to provide them, while still expecting innovative thinking.
2. Digital marketing is treated as sales—promoting and selling products—with absolutely no awareness of the need to build a brand.
3. The boss only trusts friends he met at his dinner gatherings and does not trust employees’ professional expertise. He changes the core direction every time, repeatedly making the same mistake. This cycle occurs every month or two, causing the brand to remain stagnant.
4. The boss’s former sales employee is very rude. Because she can bring in sales, the boss gives her a lot of leeway and tolerance, which truly exhausts the internal employees.
5. If you are an accountant, the accounting role here requires you to review proposals and handle miscellaneous matters for group-buying organizers.
6. The boss has very few principles and no consistent standards, and often changes his mind.
7. The boss is not easy to communicate with and only listens to what his friends say.
8. The company has only five employees, but its administrative procedures are cumbersome, requiring many forms to be filled out.
