If you’re looking for a “senior leader/manager,” I recommend first reviewing the candidate’s previous work experience and having the ability to recognize potential. Talk with them by phone first—at least give them some time to introduce themselves. As a “startup company,” you should explain what you’re working on. Many companies are doing the same thing @@, which makes it hard to feel any enthusiasm... Yet you still want someone who is highly sought-after, experienced, and has done this before? All I can say is, good luck :)
