Those who are good at flattery get rewarded; they can get a raise at every quarterly meeting.
Some people slack off and do not do their work. When supervisors see them, they do not assign them tasks.
Instead, the work is given to honest and hardworking people.
Over time, the hardworking people have more and more work to do, and eventually they leave.
The people who slack off are still doing perfectly fine to this day.
