The benefits system that looks good on paper is for the higher-ups to use. Just because you can see it doesn’t mean you can actually enjoy it. They also wait until five days before a long national holiday break to tell you that you have to come in and work overtime; figure out your own flight and hotel reservations.
At the beginning, they’ll make you sign an indenture contract: if you don’t complete two years, you have to pay back two months’ salary.
The workday starts at 11 hours, with an absurd amount of overtime. Some coworkers regularly get home at 1 a.m. and have to drag themselves up at 7 a.m. to go to work the next day.
There are meetings all day long for the higher-ups to attend, wasting everyone’s time, while you’re so busy that even going to the bathroom once a day feels like an extravagant luxury.
The benefits system is for the higher-ups to use; they still randomly order people to come in and work unpaid on national holidays.
