1. The company has no proper systems, and what the boss and supervisors say cannot be trusted. When you bring something up, they start pretending they don't know and say, “Did I ever say that?” The policies are just for show. The more you slack off, the easier it is to get a raise—as long as you're willing to be an obedient little dog.
2. Whenever money or the budget comes up, the answer is always that there is no money. They expect you to make money for the company with zero budget, and they are even unwilling to spend money sending gift boxes to clients during the holidays.
3. During Lunar New Year or long holidays, they may give employees several days off without their consent, then force them to use their annual leave. If you have no annual leave left, they deduct it from your pay. Oh, and they don't pay you for typhoon days either! Overtime is unpaid too. If they can avoid paying you, they absolutely will—money matters more than anything.
4. They will make employees do many tasks that are not part of their responsibilities. If you raise the issue, they simply say it's to help you learn more. If you can't finish and work overtime, they will then say you should have spoken up. The company will supposedly adjust your workload, but usually that's just empty reassurance.
5. The company has many secrets it cannot reveal—the kind that gets you invited by the Labor Insurance Bureau for a chat. The same goes for the factory. With so many contract manufacturers in Taiwan, I think clients with actual needs have better options.
The interviewer was very polite, offered water first, and was punctual. Overall, the interview process was pleasant, and all the questions asked were relevant to the position.

It is fairly well-known in the industry, and its clients are all well-known brands. Taiwan’s cosmetics industry is also taking off, so it feels like a very promising field.
You can learn a lot as well, and if you want to change jobs later, there is quite a lot of room for development.
The boss’s management style is: when you have a problem, the boss instead asks you even more questions. Once you have answered all of his questions, your original problem can be solved XDD.
