Read the community guidelinesThis is a company under Lijuan Tang—there’s no need to doubt it.
There was previously a review mentioning a supervisor in Taipei who dressed very revealingly.
I have to say that supervisor is already the only breath of fresh air in the entire company.
Anyone who has worked with her knows that she takes good care of people and is a very good supervisor.
She is not only responsible, but also works overtime by herself instead of making mistakes and pushing everything onto her subordinates.
She also does not have a terrible EQ or constantly change directions; she gets things done in an orderly and reasonable manner.
When messaging after work or during holidays, she first asks politely. She really has shouldered this entire company.
As a veteran-level supervisor, being able to work with her is truly the luckiest thing.
The sense of camaraderie applies only to this supervisor and the coworkers.
This one and only breath-of-fresh-air supervisor has resigned, so everyone can safely start looking for their next company.
This is a company where the salary and working hours are completely disproportionate.
The compensation, benefits, company atmosphere, and work environment have absolutely nothing to recommend them.
Any company would be better than this one. The turnover rate is extremely high:
with only 30–40 people in the entire company, I saw more than 20 coworkers resign within a year, and possibly even more.
First: It violates the Labor Standards Act. There is nothing but constant overtime, and overtime hours beyond the limit are forcibly converted into compensatory leave.
No salary statements are provided, and overtime is retroactively recorded at the end of the month; retroactive clock-in corrections also result in salary deductions.
Second: There are no benefits whatsoever. There is no such thing as holiday bonuses, project bonuses, or anything similar.
They will also tell you that the year-end bonus is delayed by a month and a half because of payment issues. You will not even receive the one month that was guaranteed.
They will simply tell you, with complete justification, that there is no rule about when it must be paid—just hang on if you can.
The company also does not recognize your hard work. They say the year-end bonus is not assessed according to seniority, but they cannot provide employees with any concrete basis for reference.
Even after HR dragged it out for two weeks, they still did not provide the year-end bonus assessment form. (They were the ones who promised to provide it.)
Third: Employees have to pay expenses out of pocket, and there is no petty cash. Everyone has to front at least tens of thousands of dollars.
A “large company” that starts by borrowing money from its employees. There are no shares, and upper management scolds people like dogs.
Fourth: They never learn how to manage cash flow. Salaries are delayed, payments to vendors are delayed, and then everyone ends up caught in the middle.
Fifth: Supervisors are merely figureheads. They do not even know whether they have looked at the materials submitted to them; all they do is lecture and shift responsibility, with no sense of accountability whatsoever.
You also have to be the worm in the supervisors’ stomachs and the outlet for their stress. I really do not understand how an entire company can have supervisors who are all like this.
They make grand promises at the beginning, then constantly change direction, leaving the people below to clean up the mess and endure the supervisors’ poor EQ and incompetence (they even swear).
Sixth: If a supervisor is effectively no supervisor at all, of course they will leave you to face clients and government agencies alone.
You will get none of the credit. Everything you submit is shown to senior management, but when it comes to execution, they only criticize you after the fact and obstruct you.
Then they make a few sarcastic remarks. Clients complain endlessly about you and demand a replacement, while the supervisor does not feel they bear even the slightest responsibility.
Seventh: Most coworkers who work here need to see a doctor.
Some need to see an ENT specialist because of constant overtime, while others need to see a psychiatrist because the work pressure is too great. I sincerely recommend that you do not come here.
Working at this company means a constant stream of urgent assignments, unfinished proposals, and tasks that never get completed.
The nonstop resignations and increasing workload will make you start questioning your life, but your salary still will not be adjusted.
You will do nothing but stay up late, ruin your health, work overtime until midnight, and then get up early the next day to go on a business trip.
Life will no longer feel like life. Senior management does not think that contacting employees during their holidays or after work is an interruption at all.
If you reply during work hours, they will even ask why you did not respond earlier. They have absolutely no respect for workers’ rights.
This company completely fails to treat its employees like human beings and does not value talent. With turnover this high, it is only natural.
All shine on the outside, but rotten to the core.
Lì Zhuàn Táng, Zhong Yun, Li De, and Left Bank Life Design are all the same company.
