The company’s information is relatively closed off, and it is also far removed from the general publishing or writing-related industries. The process of communicating by email regarding the interview invitation was filled with a great deal of unnecessary back-and-forth. Not only was it impossible to obtain effective responses, but the tone was also full of impatience. It is unclear whether the company intends to use this approach to filter interviewees, or whether it does not actually need to recruit and has no intention of managing the company thoughtfully.
