Free coffee, and the boss’s empty promises
Run while you can—there are better options. Going in there is just a waste of time. Internal communication is a mess, and they don’t know how to recognize talent.
If you like being treated like a slave and being paid peanuts while being asked to do all kinds of crappy work, by all means, go for it.
The internal turnover rate is extremely high; people leave after three days, and others leave after a week or two. Communication is poor, people like to shirk responsibility, and the company is only being held together by a few core employees.
As long as you don’t follow management’s orders, they’ll think you can get lost. You’re just there to work—why abase yourself by getting yelled at here? The boss frequently uses foul language in meetings and interviews. Aren’t they afraid of getting in trouble? :)
The company also regularly deletes Google reviews. If bad people are doing bad things, would they be afraid of being criticized? What a joke!
If you’re capable, start an independent company instead of constantly relying on the parent company. You’re embarrassing yourselves and damaging the parent company’s reputation.
There is a coffee machine
No one in the entire company knows what they’re doing
The company’s direction keeps changing
The turnover rate is extremely high
All the good teams were driven away—it’s really awful
They call themselves a startup, but I really don’t know where the revenue comes from
None at all
There is a manager who is clearly not the boss, yet acts more high and mighty than the other managers and interferes in everything. When problems arise, they only pass them on to subordinates or other people. They blame subordinates over the slightest things—or even things that never happened. They have absolutely no sense of responsibility, and internal management is extremely chaotic. Overtime is the norm, so it is no wonder the turnover rate is high; some people leave after only one or two weeks. I sincerely recommend not working for this company—it will only take a serious toll on your physical and mental health.
Can't think of any.
You can sense the company's carelessness from the interview, so it’s not surprising that it has absolutely no clear understanding of the expertise and responsibilities required for certain positions. This is especially true of one manager, who lacks proper awareness and goals, resulting in new hires being assigned a bunch of work unrelated to their position and having to take on multiple roles. I also witnessed senior employees maliciously speaking harshly to newcomers. Do not work here under any circumstances.
None
A startup company in the electric bicycle industry, with a fairly high employee turnover rate. The job responsibilities may differ from what was described during the interview, so think carefully!
