The boss is very stingy. Employees have to pay out of pocket for many common office supplies; he is even unwilling to pay for stationery. He asks employees why they need to expense it when he buys his own stationery with his own money.
The turnover is extremely high. The accounting workload is so heavy that I often come in to work on holidays without overtime pay. One person has to handle the accounts for two companies. There are basically no benefits here. There is not much to learn in the design role, and the same goes for marketing. Although professional consultants have been hired, no budget is provided to the marketing department, so we can only keep scrambling around on different platforms.
Because of the high turnover, the handover process is incomplete. After joining the company, you have to spend some time figuring out the travel industry’s own online system, which is extremely complicated.
Although the boss wants to do many things, I can only say that he does not know how to win people’s hearts. Five employees left within a year (and there were only six employees in total). The office atmosphere is also very dull, and it does not feel like a united team.
