Pros

Interview for a short-term holiday in-store tasting and sales position. Beforehand, they will provide their company’s Facebook page so you can learn about the products.

The process is not difficult. They ask whether you have relevant experience, how you would recommend their products to customers, which products you would recommend to which groups, your views on doing things well versus doing everything thoroughly, and, since this is currently a short-term position that may become long-term later, whether you would be able to commit long-term at that point or until which month you could work.

Cons

1. Their company rents space from an all-inclusive business center, so you may not see their sign when you arrive and might initially think you have gone to the wrong place. However, there is a receptionist, so don’t worry.

2. Even if you are only working for 6–8 days, their application asks you to enter your educational background as far back as “junior high school.” I have personally experienced a company using interview information for marketing purposes (a real estate company in Taipei located in the same building as Fei Ge English; I have forgotten its name because it was many years ago), so for a job lasting only a few days, I felt that the amount of personal information requested on their application was excessive and had some concerns. Fortunately, there was no harassment afterward.

3. Regarding the interview result, they did not notify me by phone that I had not been selected until more than a week later.
