The job description on the recruitment website was completely different from the actual duties assigned after starting work. I asked the interviewer questions related to the job, but they were answered vaguely and brushed aside, so they might genuinely not understand the role—or perhaps the position has changed hands countless times, with people staying only briefly, and they were simply desperate to find someone to fill it. After joining the company, I found that the work environment was actually very high-pressure. Everyone was as busy as a dog, and some colleagues had to endure their supervisors' sudden verbal abuse. In addition, the colleague assigned to train me was practically a workaholic and often tried to act as though they were my supervisor. They loved adopting a superior-to-subordinate attitude when teaching newcomers and started asserting dominance on my second day at work. They liked giving long-winded lectures and making all kinds of comments, constantly saying things like, "This is how I do it; this is how you should do it," and so on. They often made sarcastic and snide remarks nearby. As if that weren't enough, they believed that others were completely incompetent and tried to force them out. In addition, I often had to help move heavy objects and handle a whole host of miscellaneous tasks. Although I had actually applied for an administrative position, the job was no different from that of a general factory worker—in practice, one person was expected to do the work of two. Overtime was the norm at the company, and you could end up working overtime endlessly.
